Do you love your trips?

Are you an aspiring travel writer or travel blogger? Well, this could be your lucky day! Love My Trips is looking for the top new travel writing talent to join our team of regular contributors.

Travel experiences are as unique as each and every one of us. A dozen people can visit the same place on the same day and all come away with different thoughts, feelings and impressions. Wherever we are in the world, we take with us the sum total of our experience and, the more we see, learn and experience, the more we want to share that learning with others.

Your trips are personal to you and that’s why we want to hear from you: we want your top tips, your ‘dos and don’ts’, your knowledge of the best beach or the top cuisine.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveller who loves intrepid expeditions or a writer with a penchant for coastal retreats, we’d love to hear from you about why you love your trip. Dog-friendly, child-friendly, adventurous, off the beaten track, city breaks, beach resorts, family favourites, boat trips, restaurants – we’re always looking for interesting tips and stunning photographs.

We’re looking for blog posts of between 800 and 1,200 words and a minimum of four unique photographs per article. (You must own the copyright on any photos you send us for inclusion on the site.)

We're looking for people with excellent written English, grammar and punctuation and an engaging writing style. Contributors can be based anywhere in the world. Familiarity with WordPress is desirable but not essential.

As Deputy Editor of Love My Trips, I'm interested in finding the best new talent around. I know first-hand that if you're an aspiring travel writer or photojournalist, it's a great way to build up a portfolio. WHy not give it a try?

If you think you have what it takes to be a travel blogger, why not contact us with a travel story and apply to become a regular contributor?

You can contact Love My Trips using the online form or email graeme@lovemytrips.com to pitch your idea for an article about a recent or forthcoming trip.
