Social Media Training

Need to get to grips with social media but don't know where to start?

My jargon-free training can help.

Training Sessions

Our sessions are delivered by Angie Aspinall, a qualified adult education trainer (ILM Level 4 in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector).

She is available to deliver one-to-tuition, and training sessions for groups (up to 12 people). Each session is tailored to meet the needs of the client or group and will be pitched appropriately. (A client questionnaire will be sent out in advance of the session.)

  • An introduction to social media

For those who've never used - and may never have seen - social media. A great way to overcome your fear of social media and see how it can help your business.

  • Using social media as a marketing tool

For businesses and organisations looking to extend their marketing activities to include social media.

  • Using Twitter for Business

Getting to grips with how Twitter works - tweets, retweets, favourites, hashtags, and direct messages but, more importantly looking at who to engage with and what to say.

  • 'Hands-on' sessions

Twitter, Facebook Pages, and LinkedIn.

As the co-founder of Twitter's original regional business networking hour, #Yorkshirehour in 2012, Angie knows a thing or two about using Twitter for business. #Yorkshirehour is still going strong and has over 34,000 followers.

Face the fear and do it anyway.

Social media can actually be fun!

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

"I commissioned Angie to run some short courses on social media for groups of staff in Spring 2015. The courses were well-prepared and thought out, and this, along with Angie’s impressive knowledge of the topic, meant that the trainees all had a very positive experience. They found it engaging and inspiring, with just the right amount of challenge. Angie clearly has a talent for demystifying what for some is a scary and confusing subject. By popular demand we have now commissioned Angie to run some further sessions!"

Frances Wardley, Business Development Officer, Kirklees Council

“Through her extensive knowledge and collaborative approach, Angie delivered an excellent training session on social media that enabled our company to develop our approach based on current trends.”
